The PED, PED2 and FlexPED device pedestals are compatible the ZUNE audio video player in the vertical position just like the iPod. The PED2 and FlexPED have an additional ability (with optional capacity at $3.95) to hold the player in the horizontal position to any desired angle for optimal wide screen comfort. As with any PED product from THOUGHT OUT, they are solid steel built-made in the USA. Included 3M protective padding for the player and your desk keeps everything safe and scratch free. The cable management feature works the same as with the iPod, the cable is off the floor and always in reach to charge or sync.

We have recently noticed a few competitive products to the “KEY”, the USB to iPod Shuffle (2nd gen) key-chain interface that we announced over a month ago with the design product release. The unique feature of the iPod shuffle using one electrical port to provide audio, charging and data transfer has made this device another one of APPLE’s innovative designs.

We wanted to bring attention to our potential customers and distributors that we are implementing every aspect of design including the required lead free electronic circuitry, similar to the way APPLE executed their dock version without rushing the design to the world wide market place.

We are also including a similar fail safe so that the KEY’s USB to stereo jack connection cannot be accidentally engaged with nothing other than the iPod, as does APPLE.
