• While designed for the device without a case or skin, a very unique feature about the PED3 holder is that it is made from a form-able steel and not some cheap plastic material. Bending or reshaping the 7 fingers (6 for iPod touch) to the fit you like (some like it tight, while some like it loose). Feel confident you will not harm this product what so ever. Also, tweaking the fingers near the audio port to get the most out of it maybe desirable. A few people with skins or cases will find it is totally acceptable to remove the the vinyl boots for a custom fit.

• Is the speaker and microphone port blocked on the iPhone? (this does not apply on any generation iPod touch) No, on the contrary to a few early web reviews you may have seen, the PED3 has been shipping with a pre-configuration of free flow audio ports. If you have an early version, you can perform this similar pre-configuration adjustment (see above FAQ).
