    This is a fantastic product. Very sturdy and stable. It grips the iPad very well even if it is in a case. Worth the cost.

    Not just for iPads

    I spent a lot of time looking for a stand to support a wireless surveillance monitor. That surveillance industry doesn't make something like this. Fortunately, this product popped up in broader Google search, and it's perfect for these applications. It's style, weight, and size, are perfect for this application. The shipping was amazingly fast, great job Thought Out!

    We just bought a Stabile 2.0 - it arrived within 48 hours (amazingly quick!) We are using it to hold an iPad in our kitchen. It looks good and is very well balanced. We'd recommend it to others.

    Great, with one minor issue

    The Stabile 2.0 iPad stand is great, with one minor issue. It may not be as solid as the Stabile 1.0, but it is the strongest stand that I've seen outside of 1.0. My one issue with the stand: I use my iPad in landscape (horizontal) position most of the time. Due to the position of my electrical socket (on the left side of my desk), I have to position the pad with the volume buttons on the bottom. The lower right arm of the Stabile touches those volume buttons when the iPad is centered on them. When I touch the screen normally, there is enough pressure to unintentionally change the volume. My solution at the moment is to have the iPad positioned to the right, so that the volume buttons don't touch the Stabile's arm. This looks a little odd, with the iPad extended to the right a bit, but the iPad is stable in this position. The odd positioning is better than changing the volume every time I touch the screen. You are absolutely right, however we do feel users would naturally want to have the volume button on the top while in the landscape position.     Rugged, sturdy and elegant, the Stabile is 4 pounds of solid steel and compliments the iPad perfectly. So perfectly in fact, you'd think Apple designed it themselves.
