When the car heats up this holder stops being firmly in place - a user's typical response is to tighten the screw, but the plastic and metal ball on the mount are so hot that the plastic warps and the screw threading strips. The middle screw hole likely needs to be reinforced for this use case. I've damaged several doing this - finally just bought 3 of them @ $12 each since I expect it will happen more. REPLY FROM THOUGHT OUT COMPANY: The product core working temperature is not to be greater than 125ºF, this includes making adjustment to the product when above that temperature. The product should never be in environments above 168ºF.
