SOOOOO Sturdy
This is a great product. I use it to keep my iPad Air on my nightstand to watch movies. It's easy to adjust and very stable. Better than any stand I've ever used.

The Stable Pro is an excellent iPad accessory
Well built and very stable. I have it set up next to my computer for viewing files and eBooks. I suggest also purchasing the Grapple to hold the iPad securely to the stand.

Incredibly Versatile Pivoting iPad Stand
Initially purchased ThoughtOut's "Stabile iPad" stand and was really impressed by it, but I quickly realized that I had incorrectly purchased the wrong stand as I was expecting the stand to be able to pivot (i.e, the "Stabile PRO Pivoting iPad" stand). As a result, I called ThoughtOut and told them of my mistake and they promptly took care of making the proper exchanges for which I was happy to pay the additional fee. (BTW, make certain whether you want the stand to have the pivoting ability or not so that you make the proper selection of stand and not do as I did.) Then not too long thereafter, having really been impressed with the quality of the stand and the ability to turn the tablet to whatever orientation was desired, I purchased another Stabile PRO Pivoting iPad stand. My mistake was to take this stand to my folks' house. Needless to say, the Stabile PRO Pivoting iPad stand never returned as my folks' are now enjoying it with their tablet. On a side note, I also had another mistaken issue with the stand, but ThoughtOut's customer service was 'Tops' and quickly took care of my issue (which really wasn't an issue) and again, made me a happy consumer. These guys will work with you to do what it takes to make you a happy customer. Highly recommend them. Now just the other day, there was a price drop on the units, so I picked-up yet another Stabile PRO Pivoting iPad stand. I took this one to work, and the folks there are really impressed with the quality and flexibility of the stand too. I think some of my fellow cohorts might be ordering themselves a Stabile PRO Pivoting iPad stand as well. Another aside, make certain to buy the Grapple S3 accessory for each of your stand(s) as the Grapple S3 secures the iPad/tablet to the stand in case, and in case the pivot is tipped too far, it will prevent the tablet from falling off of the stand and possibly getting damaged. It is well worth the investment and peace of mind. One last note, I also use this stand when taking photos of my old LP album covers which I then attach the photos to my MP3 songs within my digital music collection. This stand has proven very useful for a lot of 'hobbyist' needs, i.e., it holds items for eBay/Craigslist auction photos, album art covers, etc. Don't just think this is only meant to hold a tablet -- be creative! It has many potential uses.

Great for trade shows
Ordered two and took them to a trade show. They were much easier to transport than I was expecting, looked very sleek and professional, and were incredibly stable. We had two different size iPads, 4th generation and the Air, both had cases and both fit great.

The best
Best stand I ever had. Thanks

Exactly what we were looking for!
I am very pleased with the quality of this stand. Very heavy. Does not move on counter.

New and improved!
My wife has used the original stand to read recipes on her iPad. The only trouble was the viewing angle was wrong when she was cooking. The new stand with the pivoting head adds that functionality without sacrificing the stability of the product. Great stuff!

Contemporary Functional and Sturdy
The "Stable PRO Pivoting iPad Stand" is the best iPad stand EVER. It is a solid piece of art that holds my iPad 5 perfectly in multi-positions on my desk or night table. No muss, no fuss, right out of the box. I never have to worry about slippage or collapse with this stand. Rock solid, beautiful and functional. Love it!

Great product, great customer service
Considering how many products are poorly designed and built to fall apart, the Stabile PRO deserves a 5 star rating. It's solidly built, stylish, flexible and stable making it the perfect iPad stand. ThoughtOut company's customer service also gets a 5 star rating. My unit developed a hairline crack in the black pivot nut which made it difficult to tighten the cradle. I contacted the company and received an email from Brandi saying they would extend my warranty and fix the problem. The entire process was handled quickly and Brandi kept me informed every step of the way. My stand arrived today good as new and I realized how much I missed not having it. When a company backs up a superb product with great customer service, they deserve recognition. *** Thought Out Company Note: All units since early 2012 have been manufactured with a new process for the pivot nuts, this issue no longer exist. ***
